In the pyramids' site
3 hours and the pyramids will be in view. Three massive structures ever stand as concrete proof of what is called Pharaohs' civilization. A genuine architecture and a remaind miracle since the age of the prophets. Take the Great Pyramid (Khufu's Pyramid) for example; From outside, 2,300,000 shining, polished and white limestone from 20 to 50 tons weigh are compressed together for 5000 years despite all the nature catastrophes. From inside; countless corridors and passageways between wide and narrow, long and short, high and low where each one of them leads to rare treasure and earthed blessings. How such huge stones passed through the narrow passages? How the stones stand still in its place along thousands of years? How did the ancients build them?... All and more questions puzzle around and there is no model answer. The Sphinx is remained also since 5000 years as it was built by king Chephren, who built the second pyramid too. A massive statue which is sculptured of pharaoh's head and lion's body is a mystery as well. Then our guide will take you on tour through the pyramid valley.

In Sakkara
An extension of high importance. Compared to the pyramids, the Step Pyramid of Zoser in Sakkara is the oldest of all of them. Watch the six "mastabas" built one atop the other. Catch photos taken of the earliest tomb in history and think of the intelligence of the ancient's mind.

The statues & other outdoor exhibits at Memphis were worth the trip. Sakkara is not just the Step Pyramid but ruins with great pillars, many hieroglyphics & friezes. Had not heard of either place before so was happily surprised. There is a huge statue of Ramses II at Memphis.
Memphis has a small museum with a gorgeous intact statue. Sakkara was made in a different way from the other pyramids. They are all in sight of each other. Fascinating and interesting to compare.
