Date tour 08/12/2019As a solo traveller, I had a lovely day out and met some nice people on the boat trip. The island is a little paradise in The Red Sea and the snorkelling off the beach was excellent. We were taken by boat before lunch to a reef but this was disappointing as there were too many boats and people snorkelling. However, this did not affect my overall experience of this beautiful island. Lunch was very good and I did have time to go for a stroll and climb slightly higher to overlook the beaches. I returned on the boat to enjoy the sunset.

Date tour 05/12/2019Mahmeya is simply a must visit! It is by far the best beach in all over Egypt, and I have been to almost every beach in Egypt. Water clarity is amazing, you can swim, go snorkeling with the beautiful corals surrounding the beach in a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is amazing, the food quality is excellent, the drinks are amazing. You must try the Lemon juice with mint! It's worth every penny.
