Day 1: Hurghada Tours to Cairo

You’ll be taken from your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna by an air-conditioned vehicle to drive you to the airport from where you’ll take the flight to Cairo. Upon arriving in Cairo, an Egyptologist will be meet and take you to the Giza Pyramids. After this, you’ll stop at the Egyptian Museum that contains numerous precious artifacts of ancient Egypt. Finally, we’ll drop you to your hotel in Cairo for overnight stay.

Day 2: Alexandria Tour / Hurghada return

In the morning, the second part of your tour will start when you’ll be driven to Alexandria to visit the most famous sites. Firstly, you’ll head to the Qaitbay Citadel, constructed by Sultan Qaitbay at Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Later on, you can visit the Montazah Palace, a beautiful palace and museum which blends the Florentine and Turkish architectural styles. Then, drive to see the Library of Alexandria and the biggest Roman cemetery, the Catacombs. In the end, we’ll drive you to the airport from where you’ll fly back to Hurghada.

    Our trip to Cairo began at the hotel in Hurghada, as our private guide accompanied us to the airport. In Cairo, our tour guide, who picked us up from there, was well versed in the history of Egypt, as well as an English teacher. He took us on a tour of the Giza pyramids, including a camel and horse ride. He organized the operators and made sure we got the best value. He also took us to Alexandria and made sure that our food preferences were met. He is one of the best tour guides we had.
