Day 01: Embarkation - Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

   •   Visit Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

   •   Overnight aboard in Esna
 

Day 02: Esna Sightseeing - Sail to Edfu

   •   Breakfast in Open Buffet.
   •   sail toward Gebel el-Silsila
   •   enjoy the scenery from the sundeck
   •   Lunch will be served on board.
   •   Tea & Coffee will be served on board.
   •   see the rich flora and fauna of the Nile Valley, and the farmer villages on the Nile banks
   •   Overnight in Edfu.
 

Day 3: Edfu und Kom ombo Sightseeing

   •   Buffet Breakfast.
   •   Visit Horus Temple.
   •   Lunch will be served on board.
   •   Sail to Kom Ombo.
   •   Visit the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo.
   •   Tea and coffee will be served on board.
   •   Oriental dinner.
   •   Egyptian Galabeya party.
   •   Overnight will be served on board. 
 

Day 4: Sail to Aswan

   •   Breakfast on board.
   •   Visit the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo.
   •   Buffet Lunch on board.
   •   Felucca along the shores of Elephantine Island.
   •   Tea & Coffee on board.
   •   sail toward Aswan
   •   Dinner & overnight.
 

Day 5: Disembarkation

   •   Optional Tour to Abu Simbel either by private coach or by domestic flight. 
   •   Buffet breakfast.
   •   Disembarkation.

    We had a three-day sail on dahabiya The Orient, and it was blissful and luxurious. With five passengers and an unobtrusive crew of ten, we felt well looked after, and the food was wonderful. We disembarked at Kom Ombo, Edfu, and less well-known places, for tours with our guide.. who was highly educated in Egyptian history and a good companion. Seeing the big cruise ships pass by made us feel very lucky to have such a quiet and personal experience.
