Tour Details

Port pick up
In front of the exit door, the air-conditioned bus will be waiting for you. Meet your tagged actor in your name to Take you to Trip to Sakkara Tours Cairo from Sokhna Port.

in route
1.5 hour our journey will take from Port Sokhna to Cairo where you will cross the Eastern desert from the Suez Canal to the Nile. Enjoy the dreamy nature while you are having fresh drinks and bottled water throughout your journey.

To the ancient world
Our destination will be Giza. Exactly the Pyramids’ zone where the oldest astronomical observatory and royal tomb worldwide exists. Wander through the Three Pyramids; Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos and think how the architecture in the ancient Egyptians was when you find yourself standing in front of massive building. For example; the base of the Great Pyramid (Khufu Pyramid) covers 55,000 m2 (592,000 ft. 2) with each side greater than 20,000 m2 (218,000 ft2) in area. Beside them an unskippable sculptured figure is laying which is formed in Pharaoh’s head and lion’s body. Believe your eyes, you are watching monuments of age of 5000 years!!

In Sakkara
Back to your bus to head to Sakkara. No, not to your bus, but to a 4*4 jeep safari. Go back thousands years to the history as fast as you can by a modern-motorized safari. Enjoy high speed driving in Sakkara for completely 15 minutes. Because of high speed; the air will hit against you face, so do not forget to cover it with a scarf to get protect. Have fun!

To the “oldest” world
As soon as you get nearer from the Step pyramid in Sakkara you will go down your safari to take a tour around the Step Pyramid of Zoser. Why the Step Pyramid in particular? Because it is the oldest pyramid, even older than the Giza Pyramids, and it consists of “steps”. Six “mastabas” are stacked on top of each other in ascending order. Try to climb them and have a photo taken of yourself from the higher step you can reach!

Slowly but surely
In contrast to the jeep, this time you will ascend a very slow means where you will move around the Step Pyramid and take your time discovering the place. They are respectively Arabian camels in the Pyramid’s valley where they take you on an attracting tour for full 30 minutes. Gently does it!

Free time, free lunch
Still on the camel, we will escort you to Sakkara lunch club to have a traditional lunch well-chosen especially for you from the Egyptian Cuisine. Taste and eat!

Port drop off
Time to go! Let’s get back to the bus to start our 90-minutes travelling back to Port Sokhna. At the end of the day, and the trip as well, we wish you nothing but a blissful and delirious voyage to all countries and cities and of course… to Egypt in the very soon. Why not?

We booked a day tour with fts travels from Sokhna Port and fortunately we did as the tour was much above our expectations to enter the first true pyramid (Red Pyramid) , the oldest pyramid with Pyramid texts (Ounas), the first capital of ancient Egypt (Memphis ) and much more.
