While at the camp, you will have the opportunity to observe the traditional method of baking bread over a campfire, and even have the chance to make your own loaf. Later in the day, you will have the chance to climb a small cliff and witness the breathtaking sunset view. Afterward, you will be treated to a delectable Bedouin dinner consisting of a variety of dishes including vegetable salad, tahini salad, rice, potato with tomato, chicken, and kofta. As darkness falls, you will have the chance to explore the night sky with the guidance of a professional astronomer. One of our experts will provide you with information about the sky, stars, and constellations, and then you will have the opportunity to view them through high-quality telescopes.

Date tour 21/11/2023This was the best and most exciting trip we have ever made! We were picked up at our hotel in South Marsa Alam and directly taken to the beduin camp. We expected to be joint by other tourists, but we where the only ones. Unbelievable, that all the effort was made just for the two of us! We had a very warm welcome and felt after short time like being with friends. The traditional preparation of coffee, tee and bread was interesting and very tasty. The ride on the camels was exciting and fun. The dinner, which was traditionally prepared by the beduin Karim, was outstanding and very delicious. We watched a gorgous sunset, from the peaceful and quiet top of a little hill close by. When it was really dark, our guide Fares set up the telescope. Fares is very proficient and knowledgable about the starry sky and loves to explain and show everything on the telescope. It was fantastic and breathtaking. We thought about booking the trip one evening before - surely outside of office hours. But it was no problem at all, the communication with FTS via WhatsApp was very easy. All in all: very recommendable. If you have the chance, book this tour with Karim (beduin) and Fares (star guide). It is fantastic!
