Early morning, our tour guide will take you from your hotel in Luxor Aswan Tour to start your day. Driving for about 2 hours to reach Edfu, soak up the atmosphere of the Nile Valley as you pass through the beautiful Egyptian towns and villages.
Upon arriving Edfu, visit the Horus Temple which is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the god Horus, the temple was built during the Greek period in Egypt. Continue driving for around 1.5 hours to reach Kom Ombo. There, you’ll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo which has a unique double design having multiple sanctuaries, halls, courts, and rooms for the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Horus. You can explore the crocodile museum where around 300 crocodile mummies are on display.
Head to the Aswan city to visit the Aswan High Dam which is an embankment dam built across the Nile River to manage the flood of the Nile and produce electricity. After having lunch in a local restaurant in Aswan, take the romantic motorboat trip to the Philae Temple Island. In the end, drive back to your Aswan hotel or Luxor.

We spent a very nice time to Luxor sightseeing, and of course the Luxor and Karnak Temple. My tour guide was very helpful and has a lot of knowledge about history and sightseeing.
We were so glad we decided to book a tour to Luxor! Our tour guide spoke excellent English and provided great context that made the sites meaningful to us. We went without a guide in Cairo and didn't get as much out of it as we did our time in Luxor.
