Start your unforgettable full-day Luxor tours from the Luxor West Bank tour where you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings, the ancient burial ground of the New Kingdom Pharaohs who ruled over Egypt for around 500 years between 1550-1080 BC. There, you’ll find the tombs of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Merenptah, and Amenhotep II among others. Proceed to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by Queen Hatshepsut who was the only woman to rule over ancient Egypt as a pharaoh. Also, on the West Bank, you’ll see the Colossi of Memnon, the two 20m high statues which are the only remains of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant on your way to the East Bank of Luxor. There, you’ll visit one of Luxor’s two majestic temples – Karnak Temple which is the most sacred site in ancient Egypt. The major highlight of this temple is the Temple of Amon, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and son Khonsu. End your full-day Luxor tour by visiting the Luxor Temple which was built by Ramesses II and Amenhotep III for practicing the rituals. Lastly, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Luxor.

The tour was amazing and I really enjoyed Luxor. Our tour guide was really nice and tried to explain the Egyptian history as clearly as he could. He was very polite and very professional in every way. The food at the local restaurant for lunch was really tasty.
